About corrugated conduit
Corrugated conduit is a flexible ribbed tube that protects and routes electrical wires in machines, vehicles, panels and buildings. The ribs let it bend easily while resisting crushing. Materials include PP, PE, PVC and polyamide, with flexible polyamide types valued for heat, oil and flame resistance in automotive and industrial harnesses. Slit versions let wires be inserted along the length. Matching fittings such as connectors, end caps and couplers complete the run. Buyers compare inner and outer diameter, material, temperature range, flame rating, sealing with fittings and colour.

What to check
- Check the nominal size, inner and outer diameter in mm, and the coil length.
- Confirm the material, PP, PE, PVC or polyamide PA6, and the temperature range.
- Check the flame rating, such as UL 94 V-0 or V-2, for the application.
What to ask the supplier
- Ask for matching connectors and end caps, and their IP rating when assembled.
- Ask whether slit and unslit versions are offered, and the colour options.
