Copra Cutter
Copra cutter, model TP-CC, that cuts dried copra balls into small pieces ready for crushing in a coconut oil expeller, at a cutting capacity of 300 Kg / Hour. Copra is the dried kernel of the coconut: it is well dried and cleaned of unwanted particles, then cut in this machine and fed into the expeller to extract copra oil. The cutter is made and exported as part of a coconut oil mill project.
The TP-CC runs on a 4 HP Motor, weighs 200 Kg, measures 60(L) x 20(W) x 50(H) inches and takes 0.60 cubic metre. The cutter comes in two versions, motor driven and expeller shaft driven. The expeller-shaft-driven version suits budget buyers and needs more labour, since each copra is fed and pushed by a lever by hand.
The teal machine has a funnel hopper on top, a large spoked pulley and a belt-driven motor on a shared base.
