Shaper vice for shaper machines, planers and other heavy duty machines, with jaws that open wide to hold heavy and taller jobs. This heavy duty, manually operated vice is made from close grain casting in cast iron construction, paint-coated in green and silver. A high tensile steel square thread screw drives jaws of special steels, precisely ground and serrated for a firm grip on heavy jobs. The swivel base is indexed to 360 and can be removed to use the vice as a stationary vice. The crank handle is unbreakable steel with a spring loaded mechanism for positive grip. It offers high precision and manual lubrication, comes in standard sizes or custom builds, and carries a standard manufacturer warranty. Minimum order is 10 units.
