Engraved bronze dinner set, also called a kansa thali set, for serving a full Indian meal at the table. It is made up of a round plate, a tumbler, three bowls (katoris) and a spoon. A wide band of fine floral and paisley engraving runs around the centre of the plate and over the tumbler, and one shallow bowl is engraved inside. The engraved areas have a silver tone against the polished golden-bronze rims and bowls. The two deeper bowls hold dal, curry or sabzi, and the shallow bowl suits chutney, raita or a dessert.
