Modern water jug with handle and lid, a clay pitcher for serving drinking water at the table. Its rounded, bulbous body narrows to a short neck with a pouring lip at the rim, and a looped side handle makes it easy to hold and pour. A fitted lid topped with a small knob covers the opening. The surface is a plain, matte terracotta red. Catalogue code: AME-033
