SCALA Brave riding jacket, a black textile motorcycle jacket with mesh front panels and the SCALA name on the chest. It is also described as the Scala Thunder Riding Jacket, made for riding with confidence, with protection and style together. The jacket has a stand-up collar, a full front zip, light grey curved stripes down the chest, light grey arrow accents on the upper sleeves and zipped side pockets. Strap tabs adjust the cuffs and the waist. One version adds dark grey side panels with fluorescent yellow accents on the shoulders and sleeves.

What to check
- Check the shell fabric and denier (for example 600D polyester) and the area of mesh panels.
- Confirm CE armour at shoulders and elbows to EN 1621-1, and back armour to EN 1621-2.
- Look for removable thermal and waterproof liners, reflective strips and adjustable waist and cuff straps.
What to ask the supplier
- Ask for a size chart with chest and sleeve measurements.
- Ask whether the complete jacket carries a CE rating to EN 17092.
