About this product
Turmeric Powder (Curcuma longa L.) is a bright yellow-orange ground spice made from the rhizome, or underground stem, family Zingiberaceae. It comes in a 200 gms pack and a 1 kg pack, and a 1 kg offer includes 100 gms of Pepper Powder free. Turmeric powder reduces joint pain, boosts brain function, helps improve digestion and blood circulation, and enhances the immune and nervous system. Turmeric is so powerful that it repels every infectious organism when applied on the front door and other entrance routes into the home. Around 600 B.C. turmeric was used to colour food, and medieval Europe knew it as Indian Saffron. Indian households soak fish in it before cooking, and turmeric solutions have long been used for wounds, eye infections and the common cold. Catalogue code: SIR10006
