Wooden reading stand ("desk read") for holding a book upright at an angle on a desk or table, from the Wooden Wares range. The slatted back rest sits in a frame with carved floral borders, and a ledge along the bottom keeps the open book in place. A hinged, slatted base folds against the rest. The weathered brown wood finish gives it a traditional look.
