Brass charcoal burner with a round bowl, a wire grille top and a pedestal foot, made for holding hot charcoal to burn incense resin or bakhoor. The bowl carries a raised floral and leaf pattern all the way round, framed by ribbed bands at the rim and the base. An antique dark finish sets off gold-tone highlights on the pattern. Curved wire bars across the open top hold the incense above the charcoal, and the flared pedestal foot lifts the hot bowl off the surface it stands on.
