Lensed telescope mounted on a flat rectangular base plate, a nautical instrument piece from the Nauticals range. The stepped, multi-section barrel sits on a short round pillar, with a side knob near the eyepiece end. Above the barrel runs a smaller sighting tube with an adjusting screw, set against a semicircular arc. A small round compass dial is fitted at one end of the base plate, along with a small name plate and curved fixing brackets. The whole piece has a polished brass-coloured finish and works as a display or desk piece with a maritime look.
