Brass tong formed from one flat metal strip, folded into a rounded loop at the top that springs open into two long, straight arms. The arms angle outward from the loop and then run parallel to squared-off tips. It has a smooth brushed gold-tone finish along its full length. A tong of this kind is used for picking up and serving items such as ice, sweets or snacks.
