Brass dhooni burner: a round lidded bowl for burning dhoop, loban or other incense resins, offered as brass ware. The low, wide bowl has a smooth, polished gold-tone body and a flat-rimmed lid. The centre of the lid rises into a shallow dome pierced with an open lattice of irregular cut-outs, so smoke and fragrance drift out while the embers stay inside.
