Round wooden saffron box that also serves as a mini ornament box, from a range of wooden wares. It is a shallow turned box with a fitted round lid that lifts off fully, giving a smooth open well for saffron strands, small jewellery or other tiny keepsakes. The lid carries a single light-toned inlaid leaf motif, and the base has a stepped rim around its foot. The wood has a warm medium-brown finish with visible grain.
