About this product
Malhar eco-friendly paper mache Ganesh idol: Ganesha sits at ease against a round bolster on a green seat and brown base, holding gold conch shells and raising a hand in blessing. Both "Newly Arrived" pieces (height 21, weight 3) wear a broad upswept pagadi: orange-pink on 67/07, with purple dhoti, orange shawl and pink bolster; gold-topped purple-pink on 67/08, with pink dhoti, blue shawl and orange-yellow bolster. Lightweight, just 3mm thick and free of harmful chemicals, the clay-and-paper murti is ten times stronger than traditional eco-friendly idols, more durable than even plaster of Paris idols, and dissolves easily in water as fast as other clay idols. A 2 ft idol weighs about 2.25 kgs; all colours and sizes are offered. Catalogue code: MALHAR 67/07/26, MALHAR 67/08/26
