Starter motors for commercial and passenger vehicles, the electric motor that cranks the engine to get it running. The units have a black cylindrical motor body with a solenoid mounted along the top, a geared pinion at the drive end that meshes with the engine flywheel, and threaded electrical terminals on the solenoid and end cover. One version has a silver end cap; others are black throughout.
