Power steering pump for commercial and passenger vehicles, the engine-driven pump that supplies hydraulic pressure for power-assisted steering. It comes in a bare cast aluminium body and a black-painted cast body. Each has a flanged mounting face with bolt holes and a slotted drive shaft at the centre. The black version carries brass threaded hose fittings for the pressure and return lines and a riveted nameplate on its side.
