OCC (old corrugated cartons) waste paper for import, export and trade from Ludhiana, Punjab, the recovered fibre that paper mills ordinarily recycle into new kraft paper and paperboard. Used brown corrugated boxes are flattened and pressed into large, dense rectangular bales held with wire or strapping. Many pieces still carry printed labels and markings, and the bales are stacked in long rows several bales high.
