HMS 1 scrap (heavy melting steel) is traded from Ludhiana, Punjab, as part of the ferrous metals range. The lots are rusted steel offcuts: angle, channel and beam sections, thick cut plate pieces, bent rods and brackets. Some pieces are painted red, green or white. Part of the scrap is loaded loose inside a shipping container. Heavy melting steel scrap is normally charged into steelmaking furnaces and remelted into new steel.
