Multicolour linen saree with patta stripes and butta in the border, woven in Bhagalpur with a linen warp and weft. Broad bands of pastel blue, pink, yellow and grey run across the drape, edged with a silver-toned zari border, and small butta motifs dot the grey bands. The pallu carries fine stripes and ends in pink, yellow and grey tassels. Woven by the traditional process in Bhagalpur, it is sold as Bhagalpur Silk (GI), registered in 2013, rather than under a Silk Mark label.
