Maroon Ghicha silk saree with a tribal Madhubani kalamkari print and mustard-yellow borders, handloom-woven in Bhagalpur from a Tussar warp and ghicha weft. The red body meets a broad pallu printed with a large Madhubani-style figure inside a frame of small figures, and a matching figure band runs along the hem. A one-of-its-kind pure handloom silk saree with traditional print, it is sold as Bhagalpur Silk (GI), registered in 2013, rather than under a Silk Mark label.
