Naachiyars is a Madurai-based saree retailer and online store with 1630 products, nearly all sarees, across Kanchipuram bridal silk, light weight Arani pure silk, semi silk tissue, semi tussar, Bengal cotton, Pure Cotton Sungudi, printed cotton and Jaipur cotton sarees, with some ready-made sets and art silk dhotis. It opened in 2015 after more than 40 years in the wholesale business, supplying most of the top retailers in South India, to bring quality, trendy clothing at affordable prices to Madurai, and it became one of the top retailers in Madurai in a short time. Clothing is sold at rates with a wholesale margin, and the clothes sold online are the same quality that thousands of customers see every day; 1000s of customers buy from Naachiyars every day. Silk sarees include 88 light weight Arani pure silk, 84 semi silk tissue, 59 semi tussar and 53 semi silk sarees. Kanchipuram bridal silk sarees come in three styles: 52 with zari pallu, 26 with contrast pallu and 23 with self pallu. Alongside sit 32 urban silk, 25 pure soft silk, 22 semi soft silk, 9 semi soft silk with body butta and rich contrast pallu, 21 semi dola, 20 semi tissue silk and 15 malai silk with digital print sarees. Cotton sarees run just as deep: 70 Bengal cotton, 62 Pure Cotton Sungudi, 61 printed cotton, 37 cotton, 36 Jaipur cotton, 32 Kalamkari cotton, 15 pure cotton Kalamkari with printed blouse, 29 Kerala cotton, 26 Chettinad pure cotton, 26 semi Maheswari, 24 pure South cotton, 23 semi Chanderi cotton, 17 Kanjivaram pure cotton with zari border, 16 Chanderi silk cotton and 15 cotton with Jaipur hand block print. Kotha and Kota styles cover 12 digital Kotha cotton with chit pallu, 9 digital Kotha cotton with dobby border, 9 Kotha cotton and 12 Kota Jari based with rich pallu and digital print, plus 9 soft Jaipur pure cotton Vanaspati hand block print sarees. The range also has 31 semi linen digital print sarees, 13 georgette, 9 Chanderi with digital print, 9 art silk dhotis, 25 sets of fancy print top, printed bottom and printed dupatta, 8 fancy tops with border dupatta, and chudithar material dress suits. Designs run from zari borders, butta and contrast pallus to peacock, elephant and mango motifs, temple borders, ikkat, shibori, bandhej and Kalamkari prints.
