SONA Stark SC-502 is a roadster bicycle on an ergonomically designed 20" (50 CMS) oversize lugged roadster frame, with extra rigidity provided in the design, and 26 x 1½" (40-584) wheels. A mildly raised handlebar with synthetic resin grips gives a comfortable, upright riding posture. An attractive steel black sturdy carrier with reflector sits over the rear wheel, and an optional steel black powder coated side stand has sturdiness built into the design. Specially designed U-shaped steel mudguards, an attractive half chain cover and fine diamond sturdy rubber pedals 3½" complete the fittings, and the saddle is supplied to order. The fork has a 1" stem x 24 TPI, swaged blades and a box crown with BCP cover. Steel CP Westwood pattern rims have 32 x 40 holes on thick barrel hubs with 13 gauge spoke holes. Drive is a ½" x 1/8" x 40T chainwheel with 6" cottered crank and a ½ x 1/8 x 18 teeth freewheel, and braking is a PH/T side pull brake system. The model comes in attractive shades with graphics styled to match the taste of bike enthusiasts, including a maroon diamond frame with orange spoke reflectors.
