This SC-506 double bar roadster bicycle, the 22"/24" Phillip Type Double Bar, runs on 28 x 1½" (40-635) wheels and is also available in Raleigh type. Its ergonomically designed double bar lugged roadster frame comes in 22" (55 CMS) or 24" (60 Cms), with brazed up lugs and B.B. shell, and a mildly raised handlebar with synthetic resin grips gives a comfortable, upright riding posture. The freewheel is ½ x 1/8 x 18 teeth or 20 teeth, driven by a ½" x 1/8" x 44T/48T chainwheel with 7" cottered crank under an attractive half chain cover. Steel CP Westwood pattern rims come with 32x40 or 36x36 spoke holes on thick barrel hubs with 13 gauge spoke holes. The fork has a 1" stem x 24 TPI, swaged blades and a box crown with BCP cover. A PH/T side pull brake system, U-shaped steel mudguards and fine diamond sturdy rubber pedals 4" are fitted, and the saddle is supplied to order. The model comes in attractive shades, including black with red and gold decals and a brown coil sprung saddle. Specifications may change with continuous innovation and improvements.
