The fabric is given as Cotton Dupion; it is also called Bhagalpuri cotton silk suit piece material and a khadi silk set (dry clean only). Each set has a cream base with Madhubani folk motifs of figures, animals and foliage and geometric borders, printed in red, black or olive green across top, bottom and dupatta, with fringed dupatta ends.
