The large heart on the front is filled with swirling flowers, leaves and small hearts, and an antique brass-tone latch clasp on a short tab holds the cover closed. Cross-stitched lacing runs along the edges of the cover, and the spine shows laced, stitched binding. Inside, a thick block of cream pages fills the book.
