What to check
- Fabric type and weight (polyester denier such as 300D or 600D, or canvas GSM) and any PU coating on the reverse for water resistance
- Inner dimensions against A4 (210 × 297 mm) or FS (foolscap) sheets, with room for a stack of papers
- Zip type and gauge (#3 or #5 nylon coil) and whether it runs the full length of the opening
- Stitch density at the corners and edge binding tape along the seams
What to ask the supplier
- Number of pockets and whether the dividers are fabric or PVC
- Print method (screen print or heat transfer) and rub-fastness of the print
- AZO-free dyes, and carton assortment by colour and design code
