Surya sun-face brass door hanging with six bells, Kodia J 39, measuring 6 x 6 inches and made for hanging at a doorway. The round face, with a flame-shaped mark on the forehead and a moustache, sits inside a beaded ring and is framed by pointed, engraved sun rays. Six small brass bells hang from short chain links around the lower edge, and a hole at the top takes a nail or hook. The antique-style brass finish has darker recesses that bring out the detail.
