Kodia DK 51 brass door knocker in 6" & 4" sizes, with a scalloped round back plate and an ornately patterned hanging ring. Raised scrolls, leaves and small dot clusters cover the plate, which steps up to a domed centre carved with a leaf motif. The ring swings from a knuckled hinge at the centre and carries a matching scroll pattern all the way round. The finish is an antique brass tone, with darker recesses that pick out the detail. Mounted on a door, the ring is lifted and let fall to announce a visitor, and the ornate plate doubles as a decorative door accent. Catalogue code: DK 51
