Khanna Packers & Molders runs all three stages of a blister pack in-house — forming, sealing and tray moulding — from its unit at Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar in New Delhi. A buyer can specify a cavity layout, a lidding foil and a print, and take the finished pack from one supplier rather than splitting the job between a thermoformer and a sealing house. Blister packs are formed in PVC, PET, PP and aluminium foil, with multiple cavity options and sizes cut to the product rather than to a stock tool — tablets, capsules and ampoules included. Sealing is heat-based, using aluminium foil, laminated film or printed foil as the lidding, and is run for tamper evidence and a leak-proof seal that keeps out moisture, dust and contamination. Printed foil is a custom option and the sealing line is built for bulk runs. Blister trays are moulded in food-grade and pharma-grade material across standard, high-cavity, custom-shape and food-grade patterns, in cavity sizes and configurations matched to automatic filling lines. Blister forming and blister sealing machines are run on the company's own floor, and custom sizes, shapes and printed designs are ordinary work rather than an exception. The packs go to pharmaceutical and nutraceutical packers, food and beverage brands, cosmetics, and industrial products.
