In solid brass, the Sage heavy-duty door knocker is a ring knocker for front doors with a bright, polished gold-tone finish and a matching strike plate. It suits a historic renovation or a modern update alike. The solid brass gives it more weight and durability than standard alternatives, for a resonant, confident strike that adds security and a welcoming touch. The tarnish-resistant finish is designed to withstand the elements and develops a patina over time. It is easy to install. The oval backplate carries swirling leaf relief around a hinge block with a raised rosette, the ribbed ring ends in a bearded mask, and the separate oval strike plate has a stippled centre.
