"The Cherub" door knocker in polished solid brass is a cast front-door knocker with a bright, high-sheen finish. Two cherubs hold an urn at the top of the backplate, above a hinged ring with a rope-twist border that frames pierced scrollwork and a carved mask face, with a rosette at the foot of the ring and a pointed scrolled base below. The cast brass is made for a crisp, resonant knock and a heavy-duty build, and the polished finish resists corrosion and tarnishing even in harsh weather. It installs easily and suits traditional, Victorian and cottage-style homes, adding an antique touch to a front door. Catalogue code: GMC-TJ-386-K
