Solid cast brass door knocker shaped as a dragon's face, a medieval-inspired piece of entrance door hardware. The dragon head has spread, finned frills on each side, a finely scaled brow and a pointed snout that holds the knocker ring. The ring carries a spiral ribbed texture and rests on a round strike boss below, and the whole piece has a bright polished brass finish. A door knocker lets visitors announce themselves at the door.
