Right-hand Colonial carpenters rim lock in wrought iron with a pair of swirl brown knobs, made for surface mounting on right-hand doors in period and restoration work. The lock is handcrafted from heavy-duty wrought iron and finished with a protective coating against corrosion, so the metal keeps its rich look through daily use. The dark rectangular case carries a keyhole, an embossed brass-coloured medallion and a brass-coloured bolt keeper with a scrolled end. The set includes two brass-coloured skeleton keys on rings, a drop-cover keyhole escutcheon, a spindle with fixing screws and the two round, glossy knobs, one on a round rose.
