This pair of solid brass Orlean door plates comes in a dark bronze finish, a warm period backplate for a door knob. The solid brass is described as high-grade and wear-resistant, with a heavy, tactile feel, and the plates suit traditional and modern rooms, historic renovations and hardware upgrades. The hand-applied bronze finish is a deep brown with a warm patina, and the raised beading and ornament catch lighter highlights. Each tall plate has arched ends, double beaded borders, a palmette crest at the top and a fan motif at the bottom. A smooth centre panel runs below a raised knob collar, and two screw holes mount the plate. The plates are easy to install. Catalogue code: GMC-SEP200227B-K
