A rim lock mounts on the face of the door, and this one has a polished brass case cast with dense scrollwork and fleur-de-lis motifs around a central keyhole. The set includes the lock body, a matching ornate keeper, two white porcelain knobs (one on a round brass rose with screw holes), a rectangular ornate keyhole escutcheon and two gold-tone skeleton keys on a ring.
