A gold-toned Antique Replica Non Electric Hand Crank Twist Door Bell: a mechanical twist doorbell with an ornate domed bell and a separate rectangular "TURN" plate. Turning the ring handle on the plate rings the bell by hand, working purely mechanically, free of batteries and wiring, with a clear, resonant chime. The bell dome carries ornate engraved patterning and sits on a scrolled base, and the plate has cast "TURN" lettering, scrollwork and four corner screw holes. It is made from heavy-duty metal to withstand the elements. The finish is listed as weathered and artisan; the metal has a bright, polished gold tone. It suits restoration projects, cottage-style homes and farmhouse entrances, and installs easily on a front door. Catalogue code: GMC-TJ-B24-K
