Performance class: API (such as SN or CI-4) for engines, JASO MA or MA2 for motorcycle wet clutches
Base type: mineral, semi-synthetic or fully synthetic

What to ask the supplier

Ask for the product data sheet and OEM approvals
Confirm batch number, manufacturing date and sealed packs
Ask for pack sizes, from aerosol cans and 1 litre bottles to buckets and barrels
