Narrow width stretch film in LLDPE (linear low-density polyethylene), a clear, narrow roll for hand-bundling cartons, electronics and pallet loads. One roll sits on a brown cardboard core and another is mounted on a white plastic hand dispenser, so the film is pulled off and wrapped around the load by hand. Its elastic stretch and cling keep items tightly bound together for packaging, shipping and storage, with superior break strength, clarity and tear resistance compared with other stretch films. The LLDPE is made by copolymerising ethylene with alpha-olefins such as butene, hexene and octene, and using hexene or octene enhances elongation at break and puncture resistance. Stretch film width runs from 50 cms to 1500 cms and thickness from 15 microns to 65 microns.
