About this product
A 10 litre "Daga" chemical container, a natural white jerrycan-style plastic can for storing and carrying liquid chemicals. It has a moulded carry handle along the top, a dark cap at one top corner and a recessed panel on the front face. The Chemical Containers range comes in three grades. XLPE suits the most aggressive chemicals, such as strong acids, alkalis and oxidizers; it is made by a patented process, designed for a very wide service temperature range, impact resilient and offers the highest corrosion protection. HDPE suits normal acids and general chemicals, and MDPE, made from standard PE, suits mild chemicals and food contact applications. All three are seamless; XLPE and HDPE are maintenance free with long life, and MDPE has moderate life.
Buyer's guide
- Check the material (virgin HDPE), can weight in grams and wall thickness.
- Confirm nominal and brimful capacity, plus the neck diameter and cap thread.
- Check drop test and leak test results with your filled product.
- Ask for tamper-evident or induction-sealable caps that suit your filling line.
- Ask whether UN-certified cans are offered for hazardous chemicals.
- Ask for food-grade certification for edible oil and drinking water.
