D Mas Plastics manufactures LDPE shrink film at Karamadai, outside Coimbatore, and the bulk of it goes to bottlers - shrink roll for water and juice bottle packing, in the widths a filling line needs. Alongside the shrink range the plant makes LDPE sheet and roll for industrial packing, LDPE mulching sheet for field use, and LDPE bags in slip and non-slip grades. HM roll, HM sheet and HMHDPE bags are the other half of the line, made largely for textile units, which use them for fabric transport and packing. PP, BOPP, EVA and PVC bags and non-woven bags are supplied as well, and the firm also supplies carton boxes. The business runs alongside D Mas Agencies, its trading arm, and supplies packing material across south India. Orders are made to the buyer's own sizes.
