Olla Irrigation pots

Garden irrigation pots from Ajay Pots are unglazed brown clay vessels that water the soil from within. A bung or rock normally closes the opening of the pot to stop mosquitoes breeding in the standing water. The minimum order is listed as 1000 pieces and as 100 cartons. Production capacity is 1,00,000 per month. Orders ship in 30 – 45 days from Tuticorin or Chennai port, with payment by T/T (bank transfer) and export packing, multi color packing or bulk packing. Olla Irrigation pots

Earthen Irrigation Pot by "Ajay Pots" is an unglazed brown clay olla for watering plants. The clay irrigation pot is a very old technology: a large pot is buried next to a plant and filled with water. Because clay is very porous, water slowly leaks through the walls, and the plant roots grow around the pot and draw it in. The pots take bottle, gourd and round-bodied shapes, each with a narrow neck tied with twine. Minimum order is 100 Carton, also given as 1000 Pieces. Production capacity is 1,00,000 per month, with delivery in 30 – 45 days from Tuticorin or Chennai, export, multi color or bulk packing, and T/T (bank transfer) payment. Catalogue code: CHO005

Olla Irrigation pots

Clay Self Watering Plant Pot from Ajay Pots is a round brown clay planter with a lidded olla at its centre, built for olla irrigation of potted plants. Water in the unglazed olla seeps slowly through the porous clay straight to the roots, which form a dense, fibrous mat around it, so the water nourishes the plant directly. Ollas virtually eliminate runoff and evaporation, letting the plant absorb nearly 100 percent of the water; the simple, extremely efficient method gave way to modern watering decades ago. Minimum order is listed as 100 Carton and as 1000 Pieces. Production capacity is 1,00,000 per month; delivery takes 30 – 45 days from Tuticorin or Chennai, with T/T (Bank Transfer) payment and export, multi color or bulk packing. Catalogue code: CHO0011
