About heat gun
A heat gun, or hot air gun, blows a stream of air heated by an internal element, reaching several hundred degrees Celsius at the nozzle. Models here sit in the 1800 to 2000 watt range with two speed or temperature settings, a common spec for shrink wrapping pallets and cartons, fitting heat-shrink sleeves and tubing, stripping paint and bending PVC pipe. Buyers compare wattage, temperature at each stage, airflow in litres per minute, nozzle attachments, overheat protection, body material and whether the gun rests upright on its base for bench use.
